Draft Bapeten Regulations Standard Business Activities and Products In The Implementation of Licensing Business Risk-Based In the Nuclear Sector
Kembali 09 Maret 2021 | Berita BAPETENAfter the ratification of Law No.11 of 2020 on Omnibus Law and Government Regulation (PP) No.5 Year 2011 on The Implementation of Risk-Based Licensing, giving consequences for Ministry/Agency to draw up the implementing regulations of both legislation. Therefore, BAPETEN as a supervision of nuclear energy held a "Coordination Meeting on The Preparation of Bapeten Regulations On Standards of Business Activities And Products in the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Nuclear Sector."
The event was opened by Deputy Chairman of Nuclear Safety Assessment Dahlia Cakrawati Sinaga, she stated "the preparation of Bapeten regulations to be made is intended to detail the arrangements related to licensing permits for the nuclear energy sector in PP No.5 year 2021”.
On that occasion, Deputy Chairman for Investment Cooperation-BKPM Riyatno who affirmed "the implementing regulations must have been established 2 months after the PP.No.5 Year 2021 promulgated. It is expected that the preparation of implementing regulations from the PP should not even complicate the licensing process that will later hamper the investment climate."
The event was attended by participants from BAPETEN, Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and National Standardization Agency (BSN), and conducted online (05/03). The event continued the exposure of "BAPETEN Regulation on Business Activity Standards" by director of Directorate of Nuclear Installation and Materials Regulation Haendra Subekti and discussion of the contents of the draft Bapeten Regulation that has been prepared by BAPETEN.
