Surveillance Supervision of the Surakarta Health Equipment and Facilities Security Center (BPAFK) as a Conformity Testing Institution

Business licensing supervision has been conducted in the form of surveillance at the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-Ray Equipment Suitability Test Institute (LUK) of the Health Equipment and Facilities Security Center (BPAFK) Surakarta from August 7–9, 2024, in accordance with the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) 71202 requirements in BAPETEN Regulation No. 3 of 2021 on Business Activity Standards and Product Standards in the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Nuclear Power Sector, BAPETEN Regulation No. 1 of 2022 on the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Nuclear Power Sector, and BAPETEN Regulation No. 2 of 2018 on the Suitability Test of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-Ray Equipment.
With members BAPETEN Radiation Supervisor Diah Astuti, A.A. Ayu Sari Trisna, and Eko Sapto Aji, BAPETEN Radiation Supervisor Suryo Adi Ari Santosa leads the surveillance-based business licensing supervision. The head of BPAFK Surakarta, Rohmadi, and all associated personnel were present to mark the occasion of the installation of surveillance.
In order to evaluate the conformance of the Conformity Testing Institution's performance following an appointment with BAPETEN, the Surveillance Team examines the documents, technical records, and quality records of the Quality Management System; the performance of qualified testers; the performance of testing institutions; equipment; and testing methods. This allows them to obtain an overview of the degree of conformance to applicable regulations and standards.
The presentation, signing, and submission of the Examination Report (BAP), which includes the supervision's outcomes and any findings that need further investigation, marks the conclusion of the supervision activity. As agreed upon in the BAP, BPAFK Surakarta is dedicated to monitoring the surveillance findings.
