As a mandate from Article 44 of Bapeten’s Regulation No. 2 of 2018 on Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-ray Aircraft Suitability Test that stated BAPETEN is authorized to conduct surveillance at least 1 time during the appointment period, BAPETEN conducted surveillance to the Conformity Test Institute (LUK) BPFK Jakarta, on 19-20 May 2022.
This surveillance was led by the Coordinator of Quality Assurance Function Group Rini Suryanti and consisted of Alimuddin representing the Secretariat Certification of Conformity Test Personnel, Suryo Adi representing the Secretariat for the Appointment of Energy test institution and Diah Astuti representing the Secretariat of BAPETEN Experts.

In 2022 LUK BPFK Jakarta got the opportunity as the first Energy Test Institution to be carried out routine surveillance. BPFK Jakarta has routinely been appointed as the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-ray Aircraft Conformity Test Institute (LUK) since the beginning of the conformity test implementation. The last designation given was in 2021, valid until 2024 for the test scope of General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, CT-Scan and Dental Aircraft.
The opening meeting was also attended by the New Chairman of BPFK Jakarta, Subadri, who replaced Prastowo Nugroho who had retired. Then continued with the examination of technical and quality records, LUK performance, performance of Qualified Experts and Examiners to the last quality management system document owned. Included in this examination is a clarification of some UK customer input on the performance of the BPFK Jakarta LUK.
The surveillance ended with the presentation of surveillance records/findings, discussion and signing and submission of surveillance resumes to the Coordinator of Sub-Operational Procedures (TAOP) representing the Chairman of BPFK Jakarta.
Furthermore, KFJM-DKKN will issue a Surveillance Result Report (LHS) referring to the agreed surveillance resume and LUK BPFK Jakarta will be given time to follow up no later than 30 days from the time the LHS is received.
It is hoped that the implementation of this surveillance can improve the quality of services from LUK BPFK Jakarta. [DKKN/Suryo/BHKK/Bams/OR)
