The activity was opened by remarks from the Head of the Education and Training Division (BDL), Ahmad Ciptadi Syuryavin, who expressed his gratitude and warmly welcomed the fellowship participants. Then continued with remarks from the Head of Center for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (P2STPFRZR) Taruniyati Handayani, who officially opened it and said, "Currently, Indonesia has a national DRL for CT Scan, General Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Diagnostics, and Interventional Fluoroscopy. The Indonesian DRL should be used by health facilities to optimize diagnostic patient examinations and can also be used as a tool to facilitate the achievement of accreditation through quality improvement elements and patient safety programs.”

In this fellowship activity, participants will learn how to determine DRL and how to monitor compliance with its implementation to optimize the radiation dose of diagnostic patients in health facilities. Participants will be accompanied and guided by facilitators from BAPETEN, national professional associations, and hospital representatives.

Following the exercise, Turki Hamoud J. Alruwaili, a fellowship participant, delivered a presentation on the topic of "Establishment of National DRL's in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." Following the presentation, a discussion session was continued.

At the end of the event, the Head of P2STPFRZR Taruni Handayani expressed her hope that fellowship participants would benefit from the experience, and regarding the implementation of DRL, Runi also hoped that participants could provide feedback for the development of the Indonesian DRL program in the future.
