The Inspection Team chaired by the Director of DPFRZR BAPETEN, Ishak with team members Ahmad Maulana, Maradi Abdillah and Naufal Alif Syarifuddin conducted verification at RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province on the Modification of Radiotherapy Facility Operation License Design for the modality of the Synergy type Elekta brand Linac aircraft.

While verification at Urip Sumoharjo Hospital Lampung, the inspection team was chaired by the Health Facility Licensing Team Leader BAPETEN Iin Indartati with members Made Pramayuni, Herry Irawan, Yaya Umaya, Sulistiyoningsih and Toni Wahyu Pamungkas to verify Radiotherapy Facilities with modalities, namely Linac aircraft brand Varian type Halcyon 4.0 and Brakiterapi aircraft Brand Bebig Saginova Type HDR Afterloading System with Co-60 source.

The scope of the onsite inspection includes document and technical inspection of the suitability on built facility design and the radiation barrier thickness adequacy of the radiotherapy bunker, ensuring the performance of the main equipment and supporting equipment, conducting radiation exposure measurements and dosimetry testing, ensuring patient flow and the ability of personnel to operate Brachytherapy and Linac aircraft according to standards, inspection of radioactive source protection and safety equipment and performance of radioactive source safety systems.

From the results of the radiotherapy operating license verification, the Hospital is committed to completing the findings submitted by the BAPETEN team within a certain time limit. The smoothness of the verification activities is supported by the Hospital which follows and welcomes the course of activities until the end, any deficiencies are considered as technical input and suggestions for the fulfillment of radiation safety in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
