Nuclear Installation Radiation Protection Officer Qualification Test at TRIGA 2000 Reactor Electronically via Computer Assisted Test

BAPETEN, through the Directorate of Licensing of Nuclear Installation and Material (DPIBN), held a Nuclear Installation Radiation Protection Officer Qualification Test (PPR IN) at the TRIGA 2000 Reactor Installation, Samaun Samadikun Science and Technology Area (KST) Bandung on April 22–24, 2024. The test was attended by three participants who applied for an extension of their work permit as Non-Power Reactor Nuclear Installation Radiation Protection Officers (PPR IN RND).
The Nuclear Installation Radiation Protection Officer Qualification Test is the first Nuclear Installation and Material (IBN) officer test held using an Electronic Testing System via Computer Assisted Test.
This qualification test is conducted based on BAPETEN Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning IBN Officer Work Permits, which is carried out through three stages, namely written/electronic exams, oral exams and practical exams. This exam aims to ensure that the competencies possessed by officers have been met in order to create safety for officers, the community, and the environment. [DPIBN/Icha/Siwhan/BHKK/OR/GP]
